The Starless Planet (2018) is an animated exploration of the work of D.C. writer and poet, Jordann Allen. The film, narrated by Allen, follows two of her poems and features footage I've gathered in rural Maryland and the Jersey coast as well as hand-drawn animations. This project was funded by an Under Graduate Research Award (URA) at University of Maryland Baltimore County. The Starless Planet was selected to be a part of Baltimore's Sister Cities Animated and was screened in both Baltimore and China at Xiaman University.
